Abstract

Paravalvular leak is a common complication after surgical valve replacement or trancatheter aortic valve implantation. Mortality is 13%, 15% and 35% after first, second and third surgical valve replacement respectively. Moreover, every sequent operation decreases the rate of success. 30-days mortality after percutaneous paravalvular leak closure is approximately 12% according to the data of different institutions. In this article we are presenting literature review and our first experience.
